Gramophone Record Drawings

I use gramophones as drawing instruments. I manually engrave the records with the record needle, to produce subtle, deep marks that echo the existing dusty grooves. I have exhibited my record drawings in ‘The Intertwining Line: Drawing as Subversive Art’, Cornerhouse, Manchester (2008) and ‘Progress Reports: Art in an era of diversity’, INIVA, Rivington Place London (2010).
